Your details, in plain English.
This site has three short forms — the launch list, the ARC readers list, and the contact form. This page explains what happens to what you send.
What we collect
- Launch list. Your email address, and your first name if you choose to give it.
- ARC readers. Your name and email address.
- Contact form. Your name, your email address, and whatever you write in the message field.
Why
The launch list is only used to email you about Heart of a Siren — cover reveal, pre-order, release day. The ARC list is only used to coordinate sending advance copies of the book. The contact form is only used so Clare can reply to you. We don't use any of it for anything else.
Where it's stored
Your submissions are stored in a private database we run for this site. Only Clare and people helping her with the launch can see it. We never sell it, share it with data brokers, or hand it to third parties for their own marketing.
Tracking
There are no third-party trackers or advertising cookies on this site. The only external service is the Spotify playlist embed on the soundtrack section — and it only loads if you tap play. If you never tap play, Spotify never sees you.
Unsubscribing and deletion
Every email we send has an unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to delete everything we hold about you at any time — just send a message and we'll take care of it, usually within a few days.
Your rights (UK)
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, and to ask us to delete it. Get in touch through the contact form and we'll help. If you're not happy with how we've handled things you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
